praimfaya doesn't venture far from the claim of the saints but she grows weary of the endless expanse of redrock and sand that is now seemingly permanently damp with the ever present rains. if she wanted to live on the beach, she cannot help but think dryly, she would live among the coast. irregardless, she does not forget her reason for living among the saints and knows the canyon is a small price to pay for the information that has thus been invaluable to her. information that seems like a growing library without visitors — it does no good if she doesn't tell it to someone else ...but praimfaya is guarded and careful with who she entrusts the information to.
renard is already a loose end that she must keep a close eye on lest the end begin to fray — though something in her tells her that they won't snitch.
she stretches her legs in the damp forest, not minding the stench of vulpine though it is all the more putrid combined with the damp earth as the rain continues its steady and endless fall. the tightly woven canopy above offers plenty of shelter so that she only feels a stray drop here and there. in the soupy mid-afternoon, praimfaya pushes on soaking up the sights and smells of forest while she remains within the territory knowing that before long she will be making the return trip to the canyon.
