Firefly Glen Story; two.

Mira had become more comfortable passing just beyond their borders. Mother was always very careful about that sort of thing, especially since she had followed Mintaka to meet that fool- but the serpent was swiftly growing into her size, gangly limbed for now, and more ambitious than ever before. She wished to know of all the land they owned- and though Moonspear's border was behind her, the girl scented more of them into this place, and thus surely it must belong to them on some level, too. 

When a silver figure caught her eye, from a distance she believed it might be that relative of her father's and quickened her pace- for how could Hydra be angry, if she had an adult Moonspear companion with her? But she slowed as she got closer, eyes narrowing slightly as the bristling fur became clear, and the fact that she was certainly not Keres. Glassy-eyed, moving closer in her direction- who was this woman?
