Luna made her apologies through his tears, but he paid it no mind. Every time she spoke, he felt the vibration of her voice clearly against him. The raven-furred woman created a form of safety for him that he wasn't used to. The more she spoke, the more he pushed closer to her.

I have been for a long time before Whitebark. It was a friendly reminder that he was in fact capable of taking care of himself.
Well, in every way except emotionally, apparently.
