Gaining experience and knowledge by the day, Holland supposed he could do with a worse time in the Teekons. Leaving behind the Glen, he traveled further inward. Coming across the Lair was pure happenstance. He figured he'd find a good spot eventually and kept a soft budding hope for it. Though the trek was long, he enjoyed the exercise. He always did, even if he was more pacifist than soldier now.
The Sunbeam Lair - name not known to him - was an array of ecosystems. Moss clung to the wall in waves. There were plants that survived the frost here. He felt almost giddy. Almost. His face remained solemn as he wandered into the cavern, approaching one wall and mentally preparing himself to scratch at it. He needed moss. It was an essential tool for any healer. He began to run his paws along the wall, scraping off the foliage in long chunks.
Too absorbed in his thoughts he failed to notice another's approach from behind.
