She'd started the trek home through the storm. Alone (unless something changes). The weather matched her mood. This was not the way her life was supposed to be. It felt like it was all somehow a waste. Everything.
She'd moved south first, towards the foot of the mountains to help keep her direction as she moved back towards the Bypass. She had to think of what she'd say to Royal. It wouldn't be an easy conversation to tell the girl that she'd been essentially left behind by her other two littermates. Arbiter would do what she could
Perhaps it was because she was in thought, but the weather didn't have as much effect on her as it might have if she was consciously paying attention. Occasionally an ear would twist, her gaze would drift, but she was traveling, wondering how she might change things.
Arbiter is often not a nice person and will think mean things without acting on them.
