Redtail Rise the happiest day

The ones who were "like her but not" were nearby.  She never complained when they shoved her aside, reacting as water would and shifting easily to another teat within range.  Her favorite times were when the "ones who brought blood" visited.  She couldn't eat it yet and didn't fully understand that it was food, but the scents the prey carried filled her with avid curiosity.  She always tried to get closer to blindly explore more.  Today was no exception.

Their leavings were better than the "one who smelled of grass".  His voice was soft but he did not interest her yet.  Only the lifebringer, her siblings, and the messages carried by death were relevant in her world now.
