As time shepherded Leonidas further from the war, the unbridled anger that had once clouded his vision began to lift. The brutalities he endured, as well as his contempt for Dysis, became less frequent in passing thought. Less of a searing burn that flowed through his veins and more of an annoying itch on his ass he could not reach. This progress in his acceptance of the situation at hand was solely thanks to the Gods and their divine intervention. If not for that well-timed lightning strike, the gold-backed beast would either be dead or consumed with hate - both of which would not result in righteousness.

With all of this in mind, the man had no intention of finishing the meal alone. It would be unbecoming of him as gentleman, what with females to be the weaker sex. Dysis was a formidable opponent, but still a daughter of Athena and thus vulnerable in her emotions. So, he let her have her words after watching her her turn tail to him in an act of defiance, only to turn around again. Straightening himself with a ruffle of his pelt, Leonidas felt cords of muscle pull taught as he clenched his jaw in wait for his turn to speak.

"Then you would die a foolishly proud woman." The words dripped from lifted lips as he snapped a warning in return. He would see to it that this infuriating brat would eat. "You would be spitting in the faces of the Gods themselves for choosing such a selfish death. You are meant for more, as am I. Zeus himself sent his favor from the Heavens in protest of our deaths not but half a moon cycle ago!"

The virago held her composure mentally, though her body thwarted any effort she made to look uninterested in the boar. The man, the protector of his people, could not allow this. "Eat the damned pig." The demand was delivered through a growl, in a way that promised she would either partake through her own will or by force. He would not ask twice lest he feel disrespected.
"The strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must."
