faust's gaze snapped to the source of the voice, sharp as a blade. his golden eyes glinted, catching the faintest light, and his lips curled in a faint, humorless smile.

fucking purgatory. his voice was low, rich, laced with disdainful amusement. 

he stepped closer, his heavy frame moving with a predator’s grace, the ground beneath him yielding in silence. he didn’t bother looking for her fully; the glimmer of her pale eyes was enough to mark her.

do you enjoy the sound of your own riddles? he challenged, his tone as biting as the night air. 

he stopped, just shy of the shadows that cloaked her, a towering silhouette against the fractured moonlight. come out, he ordered, his voice dropping into a commanding growl. unless you prefer to stay hidden like prey.
