Cole gave a single nod, his amber eyes flicking toward the mule deer ahead. Sounds like a plan, he said simply, his tone steady and focused. He stepped back slightly, shifting his weight as he moved to allow Dolce a better position to track the small herd.

He scanned the clearing briefly, taking in the lay of the land and the path the deer seemed to favor. His ears twitched, and with a quiet exhale, he murmured, I’ll drive ‘em your way. Be ready.

With that, Cole started his approach, his movements low and deliberate, muscles coiled with anticipation. The faint crunch of snow under his paws was the only sound as he crept closer, preparing to execute their plan.
