The look on the man's face stroked Alaric's ego a little bit. He didn't seem fast, he knew this. But he was a runner, a racer. Loved being reckless and fancy free. He was also an entertainer and as such he was a dancer. Graceful. However, with all things a little fragile, they were easily broken and bruised. Proven in his assault and retaliation of the man Glaukos. 

He had rocked the other males world so to speak, but before he could go for another hit. The bite that landed for a moment blinded him with sharp pain. It was not meant to hurt as a true fight would. But it would leave a mark none the less. And as such, Alaric had to dance backwards. Snapping back, but missing completely as he back pedaled.
