She shifted and Alaric closed his eyes and backed up gave her, her space. He had not meant to hurt her, disgust her and he had. And the healer didn't know how to mend this break.

He didn't move when she hugged him. Just took a small breath. And touched his muzzle briefly to her shoulder. 

He smiled, but it didn't meet his eyes. Naw it's alright. Go be with your thoughts.
