Ravensblood Forest there is a light that turns on when you’re feeling alone

Something was amiss. What it was or why. Alaric had no idea. But pies scent left the beach and he followed it. Tracking. A sense of urgency pushing his paws faster. A hitch in his back letting him know he couldn't move as fast as he once had.

The pain would subside momentarily, but damn if it was uncomfortable and nagging in the seconds it made itself know.
