Thistle was approaching her fourth week of pregnancy, and she had yet to even tell Ragnar. Though soon enough, almost now it would be unmistakable. The small rounding of her belly, and the sickness that plagued her morning, noon and night. It was a huge give away. However, Ragnar was so often at the borders, searching for Charon in the mists, she did not get to talk to him. She needed to change that now, rather than wait on him. She would go to him, and tell him. It was a sad time really, Gunnar was even despondent now that another sibling of his was missing. First it had been Mercury and Gyda, then Junior had left the wilds and now Charon was missing. A little wolf that Gunnar was very close with. She sighed, but continued on her mission. Occasionally she would stop to allow her stomach contents to settle, now that it was almost done. She could control the nausea with just slow movement or none.

Chuffing gently as she saw her husband standing stalwart on the borders, a troubled expression on his face. She frowned, perhaps now was not the time to tell him she was expecting. After all she had learned quickly, that when he was in a bad mood, he did not like good news. She moved forward and stood beside him, and lay her nose gently to the ground sniffing. A small growl came from her throat when she smelled another wolf, from where she wasn't sure, but they had lain there.
Do we have trouble on the horizon?

She meant nothing by it, and a war was far from her mind, but they had their fair share of intruders. She wondered if it was to be that way again?
