Altar of Twilight party time, excellent

The bracing breeze whispered of winter. Wildfire shuddered slightly and kept picking her way downhill, hoping to drop into the woodland at the mountain's foot to find something for lunch. She wasn't the best hunter but she didn't feel quite right dipping into the pack's caches yet. She wanted to add a few things first before she went around using the pack's communal resources. Until that happened, she would have to catch her meals on the fly.

But instead of prey, she spotted a wolf ranging around the grassland just beyond the forest. Wildfire threaded along the trees' edge, her tail flicking curiously as she began loping toward the stranger. He or she was outside the boundary line, so maybe it was just a straggling passerby? Wildfire supposed that she could put her Warrior skills to use and shoo the wolf away, though she felt it would be prudent to figure out the stranger's name and business first.

"Hi," she called, drawing in the other wolf's scent. It was a fellow she-wolf, albeit older and larger. "Can I help you?" Wildfire added, large red ears tipping forward to await an answer.
