the woman was quick to turn, and vuk was quite pleased to note that the other was friendly, even gesturing to the new kill as if to share. the scarred woman gave a nod, tail waving once more; she reached out toward the other to take her scent. vuk did not lick the chin of this wolf, however, as she was ranked above -- but nor did she seek to dominate. they were equals here; perhaps they could also be companions.
