Planning wasn't Siggy's strongsuit, though this had rarely been a disadvantage. Until now. Well, she'd sort of had a vague plan to travel West until she hit the ocean. And look! There was the ocean! So that part had worked out.
But this part... The white wolf canted her head downwards and to the side, eyeing the jagged ledge that she was so precariously perched upon. She carefully lifted her head and directed her gaze over her shoulder, doing her best not to shift her weight too much. She was a Mountain Wolf, she knew better than to get herself into these situations. But she'd assumed she could find the path down to the beach as she went. It was something she was accustomed to doing back home, but this jagged cliff was nothing like the mountains of her birth place. The footing was less predictable, and Siggy was most decidedly stuck.
A low huff left the skinny girl's lips. If the ledge were just a little wider she'd have enough footing to hoist herself back up onto the rocky ground behind her. But she didn't dare move enough to turn around. She could smell other wolves, a pack most likely, somewhere to her South. A short, somewhat sheepish yip left her lips, a plea for help. If someone could get to the base of the cliffs, they could help her navigate the rest of the way down. But from where she stood, she had no way of knowing where she was placing her feet.
