It had taken the young cub little to no time to adjust to his new surroundings. Memories of his life prior to his birthing hadbeen repressed and had been replaced by the everything that he had experienced thus far which, hoenstly, was not much. The cub spent a majority of his time either feasting or napping. When he wasn't occupied by such tasks, he often found himself exploring the proximity of the nest, his mothers side, and his brother. Much more of his attention had been given to his mother as she bore the thing he desired most-- food. Sleep had come to him as a side-affect of over feeding and before succumbing himself to his nap, he had scooted himself to lay closer to his brother. They were just close enough to so that their soot and dust hued hairs mingled. Though he had not previously paid much mind to his brother after the hubub of their birth he had decided that he wanted to cuddle.

A yawn slipped from his lips as the young boy woke from his nap, his limbs reaching in every direction as he stretched. Settling back at his brother's side, the lighter of the duo rolled himself onto his belly and let out a another yawn. Once he had shaken off his sleepiness, the boy twisted himself so that he laid his head upon the length of his brother back, burrowed his wrinkled snout into the soft fur, and began to gum at the delicate hairs as if to say, "Hi brother!"
