Her shout did nothing to calm the boy's fear of being caught, instead it startled him even more and he dropped the rabbit backing away. His eyes were wide but he gave a hesitant wag and a sheepish smile "Hey....I um...wasn't stalking you" he said obviously lying through his teeth. He shook out his fur and decided looking like a scared pup wasn't going to get him any cool points so he stood up straighter and moved to stand over the rabbit protectively, eyeing her warily. "Name's Sunny." he said in a calmer tone noting the way she looked just as startled as he was.
