Milton flapped harder. He knew it was the only thing keeping him floating. Milton didn’t want to drown. Drowning was so scary! He flapped again. Milton was flapping too hard to hear what the pretty white wolf was saying. She yelled at him. Milton flapped his arms some more. All of a sudden Milton could stand. He panted with his tongue out. His orbs were so wide. Milton stared at the white shewolf with wide orbs.
 
“I guess I can touch the bottom. That was so scary. Have you ever been scared like that? Wow! What if I could not touch the bottom? You’re really pretty.” He liked her white fur. Milton thought white fur was really pretty. He always wanted white fur like his mom but he was brown. He wondered if this wolf’s mom had white fur too.
