he's wandering the borders of the bay today, half in exploration and half idly reinforcing the scent markers. the day is dull and grey, lifeless even, and it stirs a restlessness in his bones. ever a wanderer, sentinel yearns to venture beyond the coast again — yet something holds him back. fondness for his new home, perhaps — or is he simply reluctant to be alone for long after so many months of solitude? he can't decide.
his thoughts and his limbs are brought to a sudden halt by a rustling sound. he glances around with ears perked, searching for the source and half-hoping it's a packmate; despite his penchant for solitude, he's found himself in a mood for company recently. or... specific company, maybe. if only he knew whose.
