Attention: @Breccan and @Deshyr.
Description: Just before the land begins to fall in a gentle downward slope towards the Hollow, a meadow welcomes travelers with its warm and wide embrace. The gentle hills that make up these plains are dotted sporadically with leafy deciduous trees whose low-lying branches offer shade in the summer and shelter from the unrelenting snows that sweep across these plains in the winter. Throughout the downs stretches thin streams of water that flow down towards the Hollow. Their banks are surrounded by cattails and bulrush and simply teeming with dragonflies and fireflies in the summer.
Note: I know you're absent, Van. So join if/when you can!
Weather: 20˚ Clear throughout the day.

With @Breccan and @Deshyr flanking him, Rannoch led his children from Lost Creek Hollow and into Overturn Downs. "It's nice out, isn't it?" he observed as they walked, "Especially with all the snow that we've gotten recently." The sun was out, the sky was blue, and a gentle breeze rushed past them every-so-often. "Seems like an ideal day for a hunt, right, Breccan?" he encouraged his only son.

It was only a matter of time until his next litter would be born, and Rannoch wanted to spend as much time as he could with Breccan and Deshyr. Hopefully, with the ideal weather conditions, they would be able to do just that—spend some quality time together.
a crime so old as the sky and bone
he came untied, solid as a stone
all is almost lost and it starts to show
