Hideaway Strath Sleeping with the sound on

It was raining heavily in her dream, and the red female was asleep underneath the covers of bush and trees. She was dreaming. Her eyes and maws clearly moving in her sleep, a grumble when she ripped the throats of those in her dreams. Women, children all of them were her enemy this night. She moved more in her sleep than she did awake and with a loud bolt she was up.

She panted, heaved for air, not knowing what was going on, what had come or gone, and she growled loudly at nothing, and her teeth clamped down on thin air. Awake again and the world was not hers. She squinted her eyes in the dark and concluded no one was around, and she disliked that. She needed someone, anyone to take her mind off this.

It had come and gone so fast, like a lightening. The guilt, the same all those emotions she never showed when awake, those emotions she had never been taught. Empathy was a strange word and feeling she had never had, compassion was lost on her if asked.

In her dreams though, it was a different story. She left the covers of bushes and trees and she almost felt like taking a run, her heart was pumping so fast, and her head was spinning. What was this sensation? She didn’t want it, she wanted nothing to do with it. She had to get rid of it.

A fight. A real fight, not just in her dreams. That’s what she needed. She looked around herself as if an opponent would materialize out of thin air, but obviously it didn’t. Nyra.

She knew where Nyra lived. She bolted. As fast as her large body could muster she would run toward her den area and stop in front it, pace impatiently back and forth, not sure if to wake the other female or not, but soon she settled nearby. She could not wake her in the middle of the night for a fight, that much she knew. She waited till morning, hoping to catch a glimpse of her and catch her before she went patrolling or anything like that.
