the man was nursing a bellyache - cursed be mussels! - and was not particularly amoured by the idea of company.
still, when he spotted a pair, quite a distance away from his resting place in the shadow provided by stone, the komondor's head lifted.
as he observed them, his tail began to softly sway.
leaning his head against the wall of stone, the komondor began to hum.
