This lady was crying and alone? The very thought tugged at Miho's newly developed sense of empathy, and so she detoured from her hunting practice. It wasn't like the mesa was in a shortage of rummaging desert mice. She found the pitiful sight, balled up in her room looking wan and sickly.

There was enough sense in the child to not enter this woman's space, but she couldn't help but thrust her nose into the quarters for a better sniff. It smelled awful. "Not okay?"
