All Welcome
Singarti had never felt so alone. He wished he had brought his brother along on this journey for this was worst part on journeying alone. The loneliness. Singarti had been searching for his brother and sisters for months on end. All he wanted to do was to give up and find his old pack, but remembered they had disbanded months ago when his father disappeared.

Singarti continued to wander now hoping he would come across someone to join him along on his journey. He looked to the night sky stars and said quietly. "Please bring one friend to join my journey along with me." he looked down again continuing to hope the stars would answer his prayer. They just had to.

And answer they did - though perhaps not with the sort of wolf Singarti had hoped for. Vlad was on prowl for fresh recruits, and had departed the coast a few days prior in hopes of striking gold further inland.

He had to travel exceptionally far to find it. This late in the year, very few wolves were going it alone. He had struck out with half a dozen individuals on his journey south - most belonged to packs, and the ones that were truly alone were either insane or dying. Singarti, however, looked to be in good shape. Vlad stalked his target long enough to have a sniff of some droppings, and concluded - to the best of his abilities - that the wandering male was neither diseased nor starving. Not yet, anyway.

"'ey, wulf!" the Salterwinter wolf hollered from the dark, leaving enough space between himself and the stranger that either one could make a run for it if need be. Vlad wasted no time - he had been gone from Saltwinter from several days, and was starting to get desperate. "You heving peck?"

When singarti heard the voice call out in darkness stopped in his tracks with disbelief. Had the stars truly answered him. He turned around to face the voice he had heard. It really was another wolf. Singarti let himself smile for first time in days. He heard the wolf ask if had a pack. Singarti took his time before answering. This wolf obviously wanted pack memebers and sinarti knew winter was here. If he wanted to survive he would have to join a pack.

"No I do not have a pack." singarti said in a sort of formal sort of way. He wanted to not sound to bad or be rude. This was a chance he should take he finally thought.

The stranger did not run, nor did Vlad detect any hint of aggression in his response. The expression on Singarti's face when he turned gave the Saltwinter scout further cause to believe that he had found what he was looking for. He grinned back from his spot among the trees - an ugly mess of gum and yellow teeth. "You ees vant peck?" he ventured pleasantly, matching the manner and volume of his voice to the stranger's. Already, Vlad's brain was working hard at selecting a suitable nickname to the well-mannered loner in his sights. He had an autumnal look about him that was discernable even in darkness, and smelled like a wolf fresh out of childhood.

Singarti thought long and hard before replying. He had been on this quest to find his siblings for months now. He also knew winter was soon going to make a lone wolfs life a lot harder. He would need some support. Anyway, way why had he even listened to his father in the first place. All his father did was leave him with his heart broken pack and mother for some other she wolf. He finally made up his mind. He would join this strange wolfs pack.

"Ya I'd like a pack. My names Singarti by the way." he said. He guessed this was it. Finally time to quit this life as wander. He would miss it though. He wondered also what this strangers home was like. Was it like the rest of the mountains he had been wandering?

Singarti. Vlad would come up with a nickname for the new recruit soon enough, but nothing was coming to mind - yet. Vlad narrowed his eyes, peering over his nose at the loner. "Hev you kvestion?" he probed. Asking too many questions was just as telling a sign as not asking enough. Recruitment was a delicate balancing act, no matter how slap-dash and fun the Russian's approach made it look. Inside, he was thinking just as hard as his surly counterparts.

"So what is your home like? Is it far?" singarti said with a sort of child like curiosity. This would be his first pack without any of his family to look after him. He would have to work hard to earn a place in this pack to. When the wolf answered he asked another round of questions.

"Also what is the pack like?" he wanted to know everything about his future pack. He didn't know wether the pack was good with strangers. Though probably would if they were searching for more pack members.
