Sea Lion Shores times past

backdated a bunch of days til after his donnelaith visit :)

Though the subjects they'd talked of were heavy, Charon still felt rather excited as he left Donnelaith and took a detour down to his homeland. To set foot once more along Sequoia coast territory was like a trip into his past self, going back in time a year. He was surprised to find however that there were borders being set up along the Bay's sides and found himself irritated. Yet he knew he couldn't stake claim over the lands and so he beelined past them and over to their neighbouring territory, the sea lion shores.

The remnants of last year's storm's damages were still visible to the shoreline, mainly on the eastern side of the Bay, which bordered the shores. He had been the one to guide them to safety then, and he could not help but feel a twinge of bitterness at the thought. It should've been Thistle, or another adult, not a little boy. At the time he hadn't thought himself a little boy, of course, but he knew now that he'd been so little at the time. Now, though, now he was grown up, much older and wiser, he felt. Still, he sometimes missed the past times. Missed being a kid, as he hadn't had that much time to be one, hadn't enjoyed it enough when he was one.

He stood on the shoreline of the sea lion shores and inhaled the salty sea while a brisk breeze cooled down his face. Tongue lolled from his mouth from the warmth while he stared at the sea and drifted into a day dream of times past and wondered what wolves had taken place within his homeland now.
