Furi drops the kill and swings her head back, this time with her eyes hardened and narrowed. “What do you think I was trying to do?” she says, though she tries not to train her voice, leaving the tone falling uneven. She sighs, frustrated with herself just as much as she is with Blixen. “I met her outside the pack, I wasn’t just gonna let her walk in! I wouldn’t let anyone in that would hurt us. I’m a gona, too, you know,” she reminds, snapping her teeth together. A growl rumbles in her chest but she tries to shake it, uncertain how to control her constantly wavering emotions.
