She returned his greeting and Tambourine's tail began wagging faster, kicking up a dusting of sparkling snow. Inspired by her friendly tone and open body language, he took these signs as an invitation to bound closer. The wreath of snow clinging to his muzzle fell away, so he looked slightly less ridiculous when he stopped abreast of the she-wolf. As if to compensate, his left ear bent and flopped, as it was sometimes wont to do.

"You lost or something?" he questioned amiably, going by the confused look on her face a moment ago. "Not that I'll be much help if you are," Tambourine added with a rumbling chuckle.
