if anything she had grown to match her brother in his stoicism, at least at times. when he called her name she stilled and twisted her muzzle toward him. "brother." her voice was an echo of his, and her crown inclined a fraction as she surveyed him. she was all that she had not been upon their last meeting - composed, still, regarding him not with hate but with interest. she has questions, questions that burn at her tongue as she waits in silence for him to offer more.

memories fill the rear of her mind, of their last meeting. something dark and long thought buried shifts, and a dark shard of irony has her muzzle shift into a small smile, regarding her brother now with quiet intensity.
That is not dead which can eternal lie. 
And with strange aeons even death may die.
