He wasn't alone for long before he scented Ruenna near and then heard her words. He nodded slightly, regretting the movement as it caused a spike of nausea. Swallowing hard against the tightening in his throat, he remained still while the silver female placed something on his wound; he hadn't been able to open his eyes yet, afraid the dizziness would cause him to vomit, so he was unsure what exactly was being placed on his wounds, but he trusted his packmate. When she urged him to eat something, he hesitated. I'm--not sure I can eat anything just yet, he replied quietly, risking a slight peak through his eyelids at the female. The world wasn't spinning quite as much, and he managed to prop himself into a more sternal position. His head throbbed more than anything and it felt so heavy, so he placed it on his front paws, closing his eyes once more. Thank you, Ruenna, he murmured sleepily. 

Kavik heard Liri's approach, and his eyes opened to find her, blinking slowly. I'm okay. Ruenna took care of the wound on my chest, he replied. Don't worry about me, though, let Ruenna help you with your injuries--please, he urged her, concern filling his tired voice.
