He didn't miss the slight anticipation in the other man's voice, and it caused a tightening in his stomach as he realized he would say yes just to give Alarian what he wanted. Luckily, he actually did want to stay here for a few days stealing alone time with his lover, so the two things combined made it easy for him to agree.
Alright,he said first, eyes closing and heart quickening in response to the other man's grooming.
I can stay for a few days,he murmured, lifting his head a little and leaning into Alarian's affection. He hated that he wouldn't be able to help with the hunting, but he figured it was a small price to pay for getting to stay here with his lover for a little while pretending neither of them had lives to return to.
