Left to their own devices, Breccan and Deshyr began to investigate the scents of Overture Downs. Rannoch watched as his children studied the traces of wildlife, a feeling of pride overcoming him. Deshyr was the first to speak up, and eagerly he inhaled to confirm her inkling. Before he could reply, Breccan spoke up. Rannoch shot his son a thankful glance; Breccan had been kind in his commentary. 

"Yes, good job, sweetie," he praised, leaning over to nudge his daughter's cheek. "Try again. Is there anything fresher?"
