"you don't sound so sure of it," commented tegan, who stared into the forest with his nose twitching. his brow was deeply furrowed as he did so, his tail flicking. clearly the yearling was deep in thought himself, though it was unclear what he was thinking. he made the offhand comment of, "i don't think that chick is here anymore," though that wasn't relevant to what he was thinking, honestly. "but..." 

he glanced down at bat with one brow quirked. "you didn't recognize anyone here?" he asked, ears flicking, "there's totally a scent on this border i know."
