Wraen explained that she had put her feelers (and herself) out there, to no avail. None of the wolves she'd met had sparked even a friendship, much less a romantic interest. Wildfire's lips pursed as she listened. This was where any feedback she offered would be purely hypothetical. She had never been looking for love, it had always just sort of happened to her. And it would feel like a platitude to insist Wraen just sit around and wait, surely it would simply happen for her too.

"And you shouldn't," the Sovereign opined, "settle, I mean. But you should keep putting yourself out there, continue meeting people, if it's something you really want. It may not happen as quickly as you like or even how you picture it, but you give yourself the best chance by... networking, for lack of a better term."

Despite herself, Wildfire's mind began to circle back to Niamh. To stave off that train of thought, the Sovereign wondered, "What traits are you looking for in a possible match? Maybe," she suggested, chestnut eyes suddenly taking on a little bit of an impish gleam, "I could keep an eye out for you."
