Content to let Black Hat, and now the boy known as Mal, do the talking, Tzila absorbed all of it silently. Had her packmate not been opposed to her trying to add in words of her own, she would have contributed a few choice sentences. None of which promised to be nearly as diplomatic. She had a foul tongue on her at times, and wasn't afraid to use it.

In her eyes, using their time on proposing an alliance with such a weak and small pack just wasn't worth it. She couldn't picture Mal and his band growing any larger. A better option might be to simply wipe them out. But the Nightwalkers were a group. Rightful land owners of all of the Great Bear Wilderness. It was not her decision to make. Once Vengeance deemed if the alliance was worth seeing through or tossing aside, would she act. Clearly disinterested and with nothing further to contribute, she sent the youthful leader one last cold look, turning away to await Black Hat's reunion in the shadows, once he was finished.
