Kane was glad to see that the others were just as happy to move on from the earlier situation. Kane hoped that the pair that left, the pup and adult, would learn from this situation and improve on it. Only time would tell for them. 

Following quickly behind the pair, Kane listened in on the thoughts from Dirge. Kane mused on the idea as he followed, paws guiding him through the grasses as he went. "But with food being as plentiful as it is here, eventually they should come back, I would hope." Kane added to it. An Elk calf would make quite a meal for the pack if they brought it back and placed it in caches, though an adult would feed for days. Between the three of them, it would be more possible to take down a calf than an adult without injuries of course.
