At last the time came when the rains quit their terrible flow, and among many days every so often had Huā visited the shore to look out across the sea, and discover whether the land bridge was still submerged. For a month it remained underwater, and then it began to peek out. At that time Hide had still been missing, but with the red guardian recovered, Huā knew it was time for all of them to return. And so she lead them all, as did Aiolos, until they were home upon the island again, temporarily safe once more from the terrors of the mainland.
