For their part the two coyote’s were fairly young they had been ‘wrestling’ quietly unaware of the larger predators nearby being distracted by each other’s company however now with the uncanny wariness of a prey animal they felt eyes upon them though they did not see the cause of their discomfort yet. The untangled themselves from each other and peered into the foliage; perhaps the fact that they two were predators made them feel just that much more confident that they could over come a foe.
