Swiftcurrent Creek Still I kind of like this feeling of being left behind

Moss wouldn't have taken offense if Jasmine had become disinterested, knowing that the patrol was expected to be like a smoothe flight- no turbulence expected. Instead of finding amusement elsewhere, she lodged herself in as a great big air pocket, intending to swallow up the guardian's peace. Moss wondered if this was intended to be at her expense- she regarded the woman, with her bright jade eyes framed with unruly waves of fur, and saw an adventurer. 

She couldn't recall the last time she had been as excited about something as Jasmine was about this. She as immune to the sort of infectious energy that Jasmine had, but she tolerated it reasonably well, for the time being. She sighed, and nodded solemnly. Not so much an agreement, but consent that she could travel along as she wished. 

Moss began to move. Her pace was slow, as always. Her packmate was welcomed with silence which she assumed would be broken pretty soon.
