for @Matteo and @Ines when you both have time <3 present day, morning time with sunny conditions

the isle is shifting, and surely Iseul understands that the kids don't lack a level of awareness to notice this. and despite the fact that she feels that she wears the important title, Iseul is not greedy with her words. she intends to raise these kids so that they are not just respectable young adults, but that they also know that they are listened to, even while young and perhaps not so naive.

she actually intended on giving them a treat that she had found growing on the inner parts of the greenery. a blackberry bush thrives and provides a bountiful harvest that Iseul could not resist trying. a kind stranger taught her a little time ago which berries were good and which were not. thankfully, her memory is sharp enough that she's able to pick this one out (though some of the others were questionable).

she would come to send out a grumbly-esque noise to try and rouse the siblings this morning (assuming that they were in their den sleeping). Iseul would have come to greet them in her tongue had she not been busy carrying the ripest berries she could find. a handful–err, mouthful, would prove to be a good breakfast for the two if they had come to like them. foraging is a hidden talent of Iseul's, anyways.
Iseul is still learning English and will frequently pause to find the right word. This often occurs with an audible 'uh' or 'ah' sound, as well as speaking a bit slower to try and avoid mistakes. Your character is welcome to notice this!

As the days went on, life had become considerably more exciting. Not only were there new faces about (some more ugly than others), but with his legs growing stronger he found he could venture further and further from the den before he felt completely pooped. He saw Ines less and less during the day (most of his time was spent bird or fishwatching, or adventuring alone when Iseul was busy). And though Matteo was content, he couldn't help but feel as though a 물고기 was flapping inside his chest whenever he did see his sister.

He meandered back to their den that morning to see a figure he was all too familiar with.

"Iseul!" he woofed joyfully. She'd come to see him! A strangely sweet and sour smell wafted from the package held in the Leader's jaws. Matteo brushed up beside her as he took a tentative sniff of the stuff, just as his stomach gave a very loud grumble.
