LOL NOPE

Finley smiled a tiny smile at the fervency with which he affirmed that it was alright.  She couldn't imagine why he put with her - she certainly wouldn't have had any patience for him if he pulled this sort of dodge and avoid tactic with her.  Fin had long ago given up on trying to not be a hypocrite - it was just too hard.  All she could do was hope there'd be wolves like Elwood in her life that would forgive her for her emotional deficiencies/stupidity.

Fin didn't respond to his words, but there was gratitude mingled with the adoration in her eyes as she gazed at him.  She leaned into the kiss placed so sweetly upon her cheek, suddenly wanting even more.  She turned towards him with a spark in her eyes that Elwood was probably rather familiar with by now.  Fin set the stone back down upon the ground and stood up, giving the treasure a glance to indicate it before she spoke.  "Wanna come help me find a good spot to display this at home?" she asked innocently, her eyes then twinkling mischievously as her tone took on a suggestive lilt, "And maybe then I can... thank you properly for it?"

Indeed, as Finley looked up at him, Elwood immediately recognized the expression on her face. As a result, his lips tugged up into a smirk and he got to his feet almost before the playfully innocent words were out of her mouth. It wouldn't take much for her to beckon him to follow; already, thoughts of their serious conversation were slipping from his mind. He didn't even provide her with a verbal response -- instead, he pressed his snout against her flank as she turned away from him, a low growl rumbling in his chest.

And with that, he leapt away, teasing her with a knowing grin as his paws thundered towards her den.
