felipe decided to stay near the coast for awhile. something about it was so mysterious about the whole thing, it caused him to linger. he had to admit, he was very interested but not interested enough to move to the shore itself. in all honesty, he was unsure about it. he’d never been near the ocean so he was understandable cautious. maybe one day he’d travel farther west.
but today wasn’t the day. instead he found himself above the surface level on a plateau, crouched on damp grass. a rabbit stood before him, blissfully unaware of the danger it was in. felipe sprung, it ran, but not fast enough. the creature met its demise between his teeth.

eeeek i'm sorry!! i forgot about this tag hhhh
after discovering the coconut grove, he filed it away as 'interesting' and began the short trip back to the plateau, hoping to do a whole lot of nothing. those plans were scrapped as he noticed the male nearby, rabbit in his jaws. he was wary, but not at all territorial. izel might have had a different opinion. . .but the woman was nowhere to be found, lately. this man would be fine.
still, govinda gave a low chuff, hoping the warning would spare him the wrath of a wolf defending his kill. he wasn't that hungry, anyway; even if he was, he wouldn't dream of taking hard-earned prey from someone else. he settled back on his haunches, watching the man with placid, slowly-blinking eyes.
nice catch,he remarked, smiling gently.
