Blacktail Deer Plateau Pain is as pain does

Ash helped the girl @Sovereign get away from the men. Her ire high and full, but she did not outwardly show signs to the girl. She didn't want to impede her growth or her health, by losing her mind. Though she briefly wondered if she wouldn't lose her mind next time she saw her leaders.

She would lead her to a nearby medicinal den, that Ash Paw was fairly certain had been used in years past for those in need of healing. Whomever, had been in this plateau before she threw a thankyou to them on the wings of her gods.

Come along. Let's get you all cleaned up and fixed up.

The Prince followed Ash Paw in grim silence. 
She limped and staggered slowly along until the Mage brought her to a medical den that very vaguely looked like it was used once upon a time. 
As the Druid spoke to her, the girl only nodded with a weak rumble before allowing Ash to lead her into the den and place her wherever she needed to.

When that happened, the girl would look up at her with thanks in her golden gaze. 
She wanted to speak it, but her vocals felt frozen whenever she considered wanting to talk like she knew she could.

Or could, once upon a time.

The girl followed behind the mage of Basilica with silence. There was a determined air to the girl, forcing herself to follow. Though Ash could feel the flagging, could see it in the limp that was pronounced. In the way the girl, kept up. It was a sadnesss and a surprise that clung to her, as if she didn't quite fully realize what had happened. 

Granted Ash Paw could be reading into it completely wrong. She was not a reader of other's well. She settled the girl to the grounds. And then briefly ran to the nearby river, packing as much sopping wet moss into the rabbit skin  that she could.

She would clean the girls wounds and find out waht plagued her, the most.

Various lacerations, bites and such basically everywhere cuz she got whumped pretty good lol

Sov was very much surprised and sad both, but also filled with a bitter, cold rage. 
It burned and twisted inside her like nothing she'd known before a week ago.
The Crown Prince silently waited while Ash Paw went to wet the moss, knowing she would return. 
And she did.

The wounds that smarted the most in this moment were her right foreleg, already wounded not just once but twice and now multiple more from the rage of Redtail Rise, and the wounds to her pride and ego which felt deepest.
Not that she could really tell which wounds were the most serious right now in her state of shock and such.

Ash Pw arrived and with gentle ministrations she used the moss to clean up the majority of the girls pelt. The white of her pelt had made it seem extremely bad and the more she cleaned. The more she realized perhaps it wasn't a lie. The girl was covered in lacerations bite marks, and claws. Ash Winced in sympathy, this would be painful.

I'm sorry if it hurts. she murmured softly.

Ash Paw slowly began to clean at the wounds and she spoke as she did so. Bergamot is a medicinal herb that will keep the infection at bay. The aloe is to soothe the less serious ones. And the cobwebs to hold it in place, and stop the bleeding. You're lucky you made it to us.

She paid special care to the foreleg in question. Then with a nod, she rooted towards the back, digging out a deer hide that had been musty and smelled old, but she had cleaned it upon her arrival. It was dry now, this she would drape over the girl.

I know it seems strange to try and keep you warm, but sometimes the shock of the wounds can cause more issue than the wounds themselves. Can you speak? I'd like to send a runner to your family? You have a family right?

Ash Paw dug around for some rose hips and laid them at the girls feet. It's going to taste awful, but eat this. It helps if you have any issues in your joints. I can give you some raspberries to help the taste?

The child would only wince as Ash Paw began her treatment.
A low mmm noise in acknowledgment of Ash's words, the explanation of what everything she had would do to help. 

She appreciated the care to her foreleg, and watched with silent inquiry as the Mage went to get a pelt that was draped over her pale shoulders.

Now more talking.
She felt slightly interrogated, but she would respond with a voice slightly raspy from disuse.
"Kill, accident. Then, swarmed. Red lady and many others. Bad. Did this..." As she spoke, her voice began to quiver and her eyes filled with genuine fear. Would she be cast away by them now that the Medic knew what had happened? 
"Family...Hildibrandr. In Hinterlands." She coughed a little and tried to furl herself further under the deer pelt. Not that she succeeded due to inheriting her mother's size

Ash Paw was not a genteel wolf, but she did try her hardest to make sure the girl wouldn't feel as much pain. Though there was not much she could do about it. These were grave wounds.

Ash Paw's ear twitched the only proof that she was worried with what the girl said. Truthfully, due to the fact that the girl killed another, well it might work in her favor with Ingram. he had a bit of a pull for the damned.

Ash Paw leaned forward to soothe. it's okay you are safe here. Let me see if I can find you some more pelts.

She had some rabbit firs nearby. They wouldn't do much, but at least they would be a comfort. She lay them where she could, not that they covered much. The girl was larger than even she.

Hinterlands, Hhildibrandr. She packed this information away. Once the girl was quiet and sleeping, she would seek out Ingram. This was turning into a mighty fine mess. Ash Paw looked over the girl. Was she wiling to put her life on the line for the girl.

Ash Paw dug around nearby she had a small shell of water and chamomile. She pressed it near the girl.

It won't taste good, but it will help your throat feel less sore. Would you like something to eat? Or just rest?

Sov didn't really believe the Mage when she said she was safe here. 
Safe, was home. 
And this place was sure as shit not her home. 

Still the Princess nodded softly and would take or drink all the medicines Ash Paw gave her.
 
The question asked was answered with a large yawn and the lowering of her large head, which was followed by a series of gentle breaths as she melted into slumber.

The girl was an ideal patient she liked that. She didn't fret or fuss, just did as asked. If only all of them could be like that. However, it was soon time for the girl to get the rest she so dearly needed. 

Ash Paw would watch her nod off and stay guard for a time, before she'd go in search of her leader. There was news to share.
