All Welcome
he thought of belen as he cleansed a walkway. the shine of her cool tones yet how she burned so warm. he thought of how she knew Lord Gucci and how she might be a good addition to the House of Gucci if the little Lord ever returned.

and he thought of that little Lord the most as he brought out a fur to dry in the last rays of evening light. how he prayed each night that the man was safe, that wherever his small paws had taken him was with guards and good company. perhaps he had returned to the warm sands of far away places and knew his servant might be a good price left in his wake.

his thoughts only finally grew silent as he brought a fresh bundle of herbs to a shrine. placed there with holy whispers before he descended down a dark hallway.

night came quick in the growing coldness.

in his heart were words for Shezmu, for himself, for Akashingo.

Lurking afar, a shadow of dripping teeth forms at the side of a coyote figure. Chest raised to put down the vermin.
The kingsguard kills vermin.

It is a servant.

Mesen-ka flattens to normalcy and his teeth catch light in a bright smile when they cross paths. "Good evening! You frightened me out of my skin. I almost thought you to be a trespasser. It appears I have had one too many wines, HAHAHAHAHA!" He has had no wines!

he swept into a bow without a second thought.

my apologies, Medjay. respect given for his accidental startle. he should have known better than to be walking halls in the dark alone! yet he had been so busy and it was well within their heart of the palace.

shall i arrange a meal for you? warm baths before you rest? he knew that some wished to end their wine nights on gluttonous notes and others with further relaxation.

The coyote drops. In another life, a far more miserable of an ending for the man.
Mesen-ka is paused to think, tongue rolling between his lips and teeth. Such time it has been since the nights have been spent well rested.

"Perhaps you are on to something, little fellow! A guard's stomach always boils for food." Head lifting, motioning a rise. "I will take a meal in my quarters. Dine with me." He walks up the shadows behind the Fellahin's way to clear them for the night before turning. "Tell me what the menu offers tonight."
