"She knew his name," Charon answered, not liking getting questioned much. This wolf seemed harmless though, so there was probably no harm in telling her about Kevlyn. Kev was probably dead, anyway, like Ragnar had told him... But a tiny spark of hope always remained. If only he could find Blythe, maybe he could find Kevlyn, too.

It seemed that this wolf's info was a dead end, because she said that maybe-Blythe was further land-inward and didn't smell like that place. "Oh well. Thanks, I guess," Charon said then, deciding that this wolf's info wasn't going to help him much.

She introduced herself as Ame of the Sunspire, and Charon nodded. "The Sunspire? Where's that at? I've never been there before." His voice was laced with curiosity, and the adolescent waited for her to point out in which direction it lay. He wondered if it was a mountain, like the name suggested; maybe she could even point out which mountain. The world seemed limitless, with so many regions and packs yet undiscovered.
