A snarl warned Syn of someone's approach. "They noticed Syn. Not good. Not good." She turned to find that it was none other than the alpha that had found her. With teeth bared in a sense of foreboding, the black female cowered against the ground beneath the shadow of the leader of the Spine as she approached Syn with tail and ears erect. Syn could guess what was going to happen to her now and mentally prepared for the beating she may have earned herself. "Syn hunt," she tries justifying herself to Tonravik. But she knows there is no hope of dissuading the alpha from punishing her. Sharp and fresh the memory of pain assaults her thoughts. That is pain? Syn does not remember having ever been injured before, but then again there was a reason for the healing wound on her back leg. Had Tonravik done that? "Syn stay. Leave Syn be. Syn doesn't want pain."

She didn't notice the company of the other wolf at first, her focus sharp on the alpha and the memory of pain. Syn could run, but if the alpha caught her? Surely her punishment would be much worse then. With her tail curled between her hind legs Syn snarls defiance at the threat closing in.
You should fight... a faded voice echo's in Syn's mind. Her snarl is interrupted with confusion as she looks around to see who had spoken. She spots the audience of the other wolf. Had they spoken? "What wolf say?" Syn questions the stranger.
