Jace felt guilty for leaving her hanging. He had not meant to just cut and run. To give up his position, but he had been for lack of a better term a piss poor leader towards the end. And he had decided the best thing for all of them was to let the position go. Perhaps Sumayl had taught him something after all. Jace shifted and settled to his haunches.
