Moonspear Wake the giant

In the heat of the battle, Charon had forgotten about Nishu; until Dhole called out his name with an urgent and high-pitched note to it. He reacted, turning to look at Nishu, who could barely stand at all. He looked in pisspoor shape, and though he probably should've felt empathy, Charon mostly felt resent that it was Nishu that had drawn out the attack. It was like he always needed to be in charge, and now he would pay the price for it. He didn't voice any of this outwardly, though, for he understood the severity of Nishu's wounds and that it'd be inappropriate to question his actions at this time.

Ears perked forward when Nishu called out his name, unexpectedly intertwined with Amekaze — for the first time Nishu addressed him as Ame's counterpart, in his right place, which mellowed out charon's resentment a little. Nishu uttered that he had a request, and Charon neared, casting Ame a brief glance in wonder. "We should get you somewhere safe to rest," Charon countered, "Then we talk." He didn't have much faith that Nishu'd follow his words on it, and maybe he would still utter whatever request he had, but as things were Charon understood the necessity to get the pack mate to safety, no matter what his own personal feelings were. He nipped at Nishu's side, then stood beside him to support him, should he find it hard to keep afoot, and to get him inside whatever nearest shelter to rest up.
