Besides, the fact she mentioned being lead hunter at her previous pack made Charon think her ambitious, and he thought ambition (as long as it wasn't for his throne) and confidence admirable qualities. "Sounds good," said Charon. "Too bad such a good hunter shows up empty-handed on our borders, though," he added, though the amused smile on his face showed that he was mostly joking.
