When Dhole mentioned Flóki might not want to see her, Charon snorted. It was a ridiculous notion, considering they were mates and Flóki was super caring, so he'd be happy to see Dhole regardless. And he'd probably be happy that there were reasons for her disappearance from Moonspear in the past weeks.

"Don't be silly, Flóki loves you more than anything in the world." His determination to stay while she told Flóki was fueled further, and Charon waited by her side for Flóki to arrive.
